We are excited to help you plan your vacation!  The Lakeside Chalet features 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths and is perfect for 2-8 people. If your idea of roughing it includes a premium property with satellite TV, WiFi, a gorgeous lake setting, complete privacy, and endless amenities, you’ve found the perfect location. Enjoy a long weekend or an entire week in this beautiful newly updated Innsbrook A-frame. Located within a gated community and built in late 2007, it is luxuriously outfitted for all of your getaway needs – whether you’re seeking a romantic escape or a weekend of fun with family and friends.

Nestled within a 1.3-acre forest of trees, this very private deluxe chalet is the perfect setting for your lake vacation. Lake Sonnenblick is just outside the door where you will enjoy watching a constant flow of wildlife; a paddleboat is included with the chalet and is stored at the water’s edge next to the dock. In the summer, take a paddleboat ride around 4-acre Lake Sonnenblick or enjoy the popular sandy beaches and swim docks on 150-acre Lake Aspen.

This chalet features a sand beach and a lakeside fire pit and patio, perfect for enjoying the outdoors year-round. The beautiful first-floor living room has amazing views and a stone wood-burning fireplace, cozy for early spring, fall, and winter getaways.

• Three private bedrooms are fully furnished with a king & queen-size beds. The loft also contains a sleeper sofa (queen size). A Pack N Play is also available for a $25 fee.
• The over-sized kitchen is well-appointed and is ready for preparing meals for small or large gatherings. A gas grill on the deck is also available.

Sit on the dock or the deck, or even the screened-in porch and feel a part of nature in Innsbrook’s Audubon Sanctuary. The Conference Center, beautiful outdoor swimming pool, Innsbrook’s award-winning 18-hole golf course and Hanneken’s Restaurant are just minutes from the chalet.

My husband and I and our 2 kids (ages 12 and 9) had one of the best rental experiences ever in having been renting in the Innsbrook area for the past decade. We have rented many sizes and locations of rental properties in Innsbrook but Sarah Bernard’s chalets are the best. There is no reason to even rent from anyone else in Innsbrook. The chalet was one of the best stocked ones we have ever rented. The kitchen dishes and other serving and cookware were plentiful. The nice touches such as sharp steak knifes, grilling accessories, extra paper towels, trash bags, cooking sheets, rolling pin, plenty of wine glasses, lots of non-stick pans, etc… helped for those who enjoy cooking. The bathrooms all had plenty of towels, shampoo, hair dryer, etc… There were plenty of games, books, beach towels and other items in the chalet. The outdoor area had plenty of seating and we enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boat along with some great fishing. The fire pit area was perfect for a nice fire and enjoying some smores. The check in and check out procedures went perfectly. Very easy arrival with plenty of directions, and other helpful info. Check out was a breeze. We also enjoyed eating dinner a couple times at the Innsbrook Clubhouse. The food options were good and tasty. There was music Friday night which was a nice touch. We did the fall hayride and other family activities Saturday night. There are plenty of event/activities available for those staying at a chalet. I encourage you to visit the innsbrook resort website to plan your vacation around activities. We would have loved to stay longer, 3 nights went by quickly. We will be back again! Thank you for such a memorable family trip.

This cabin made for a great, fall weekend getaway with the family. It was beautiful and had excellent outdoor activities that everyone enjoyed.

We arrived home two days ago and we are hoping to go back next year. The chalet was perfect with almost everything a visitor could need. We arrived on Sunday and stay through the week. It was absolutely quiet and relaxing. We had a hiccup on our last planned night with the a/c going out. After an email to Sarah’s staff, we received both calls and emails. It was too late in the evening to get the a/c taken care of, but they extended our stay for one more night, on Sarah! The a/c was repaired by 1:30 the next day. We were floored…both by the offer for one more night and the quick handling of the problem. The chalet was very comfortable for my best friend and me. There was enough room to spread out and not get on each other’s nerves. 😉 We each had a room and our own bathroom. All of the furniture was comfy and clean. If the weather hadn’t be so hot and humid, we would have explored more of Innsbrook. Instead, we used the lake we were on. I even kayaked for the first time in my life! Thank you Sarah and Kaye for a beautiful and wonderful week! Definitely recommend to everyone looking for a peaceful get away with wonderful hosts.

Relaxing place, fished off dock. 2 kayaks and a paddle boat were at our disposal. hiking trials nearby, picked blackberries and made a cobbler, had fireplace or outdoor fire pit going most of the time. Great relaxing place to stay.

Staying at the cabin for an extended Easter and birthday weekend couldn’t have been better. Not only did we luck out with fantastic weather, but the cabin and location in Innsbrook were outstanding. Sarah and her team made the experience even better by making the rental process a breeze. The cabin itself was very nicely furnished with everything we needed to feel like we were at home. And Innsbrook itself had plenty of hiking and adventures lakeside to keep us occupied.

The chalet at 1717 Sonnenblick allowed my girlfriend and I the perfect weekend away with just a short drive from St. Louis. They had everything there we needed and more. Our favorite was the wood fireplace and the beautiful view of the lake from inside the chalet. While having my morning coffee on the deck next to the lake a couple of deer walked through the woods just about twenty yards away. Exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend. I’d recommend it to everyone. Beautiful property!

Our experience staying at this chalet was nothing short of spectacular! The weather was chilly but we were able to get out in the sunshine and hike a few of the trails and enjoy the fresh air and wonderful outdoor scenery. The chalet was beautifully decorated and the attention to detail was quite impressive. It was bright, cheerful and felt brand new…like a luxury cabin in the woods! And it was so fun to stare out at the lake from the wall of windows inside. This was such an amazing getaway and I would recommend this chalet to anyone! Thank you for the wonderful accommodations!
