The following page has answers to the most frequently asked questions about Innsbrook Resort and our Vacation Rentals. We also have a lot of great information on our vacation rentals, things to do, and experiences pages. Check-in is at 4pm or later. We do allow early check-in (for an additional fee) if housekeeping has time to prepare. We typically cannot guarantee early check-in until the day before your stay.
What time is check-out? Expand
Check-out is at 11am. We do allow late check-out (for an additional fee) if housekeeping has time to prepare for the next guest. We typically cannot guarantee late check-out until the day before your scheduled departure.
Most of our Vacation Rentals allow up to two dogs for a $35 per night pet fee, which can be added during the reservation process. If you decide to bring your dog after you confirm your reservation, please let us know and we would be happy to make that change. No cats, please. 1743 Little Bear Lodge and 1247 Sunset Oaks are not pet-friendly (perfect for those with a pet allergy!).
Is wood provided for fireplaces/firepits? Expand
No, wood is not provided but readily available from stores and gas stations on your way to the resort (we suggest Hanny’s Market in Wright City. Firewood bundles are also for sale at Innsbrook’s Country Market on site. For the outdoor fire pits, it’s easy to find fallen wood on the property.
Are the indoor fireplaces wood burning or gas? Expand
Most fireplaces are wood burning. Our Alpine Cottage has a gas fireplace in the living room.
How many cars are allowed in driveway? Expand
Innsbrook rule is one car per bedroom plus one.
Are there bathtubs in the chalets? Expand
Yes, most of our chalets have a bathtub. 1716 has a jetted tub. There are a few that don’t have tubs so be sure to let us know if you require one during your stay.
What is your smoking/non-smoking policy? Expand
All Vacation Rentals are non-smoking.
Are there “beach towels” or do guests bring their own? Expand
We provide beach towels but you are also welcome to bring your own.
Is there a place to get bags of ice or is ice provided? Expand
Ice can be purchased at the Country Market during the summer. It can also be purchased at Hanny’s Market in Wright City. Most of our properties, though not all, have ice makers.
The lakes are good size. They are all great for paddle boating/boarding, kayaking, fishing, swimming, playing at the beach.
Can I bring my own kayak? Expand

Can I bring a paddle board? Expand

If we go paddle boating, do we have to make a reservation? Expand
There’s either a paddle boat, kayaks, or a canoe (not a pontoon boat) at our lakefront chalets for your exclusive use. There are no boat rentals available at Innsbrook. Even our properties that aren’t on water have kayaks stored at a public beach in Innsbrook for your use.
Are there fishing poles at the chalet? Can we rent them? Expand
The fishing poles and supplies that are at the chalets have been left behind by other renters; we don’t supply these, but you are welcome to use what you find. We suggest picking some up at Wal-Mart if you plan to fish since we don’t provide them. You can pick up bait at the liquor store in Wright City.
Do I need a fishing license? Expand
No license needed.
Are dogs allowed in lake? Expand
Innsbrook requires dogs to be on a leash. At our private lakes, dogs are allowed in the water.
Yes, all of our Vacation Rentals have grills for your use. There are gas grills and propane tanks at most of the chalets. There are a few with charcoal grills and charcoal is provided.
Do you stock condiments? Expand
No mayo, ketchup, mustard, etc. But we do stock spices, sugar, coffee, tea, etc. We’ve found that our guests don’t like to use others’ ketchup.
Where is the closest grocery store? Expand
We recommend bringing all your groceries with you for your convenience. It’s about a 20-minute drive back to a store. If you stop in Wentzville (Exit 208 or 209) on your way from St. Louis, there is a Schnuck’s and a Dierberg’s there. If you’re coming from the west (Columbia), you can exit at 194 for Wal-Mart Supercenter or Kroger. There is also a small convenience store at Innsbrook called the Country Market, near the Main Gate, but it is closed in the winter months.
Unfortunately Uber is not yet available at Innsbrook Resort. We would be happy to help you arrange private transportation service through one of the local limousine companies.
Do you have a babysitter list or does the resort offer that service? Expand
We do not provide that service. Please check with the resort.
What kind of food does the restaurant have? Expand
Burgers, pizza, bar food. Menu is online.
How far are the chalets from the golf club house? Expand
It varies based on which chalet you are renting.
How far are SB Chalets from the pool? Expand
All Chalets are in a different location, but within a 5-7-minute drive.
How far are we to the Aspen Center? Expand
It varies based on which chalet you rent.

Do we need a reservation for the Sunday breakfast buffet? Expand
Not required, but we recommend you make a reservation just in case. http://www.innsbrook-resort.com/dining/clubhouse/.
